New Editor in Chief for the European Journal of Personality
After four years as the Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Personality (EJP), it will be time for Professor René Mõttus to step down from his role in September 2024. Under René’s stewardship, EJP made significant gains across every meaningful metric, and the journal remains a premier outlet for personality research. We are incredibly thankful to René for his service to the journal, the association, and the personality field, and we wish him much-continued success in his future endeavors. Thank you, René!
After searching for a new Editor, it gives us great pleasure to announce that Professor Matthias Ziegler has accepted appointment as the next Editor-in-Chief of EJP. Matthias is a Professor of Psychological Assessment at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, where he teaches and conducts research in several areas of personality and psychometrics. He has extensive editorial experience, having served as the Editor-in-Chief for the European Journal of Psychological Assessment and Psychological Test Adaptation and Development. We are confident Matthias will lead EJP forward with imagination, innovation, and rigor. Please join us in welcoming the incoming Editor-in-Chief of EJP, Professor Matthias Ziegler to his new role!
